My Godkid is cooler than your Godkid.

Seriously - my Godkid rules. Connor was baptised this weekend and I, unfortunately, was unable to attend. However, he seemed to conduct himself nicely and successfully navigated the baptism process. It must have been my coaching from afar.

Here we are, Where are you?

Dear Reader,

This blog is a letter to the future. The people for whom it is written are smarter, more attractive and certainly more inventive than this blog's lowly authors. Soon they will be able to read themselves, and I suppose sooner than this author can imagine they will divine some sort of meaning from these stories (the meaning of which we will not be able to control).

Some of the content is silly, some understandings will change with time (this is a journal, but we all know that real history is written in the future). We wonder what you will remember on your own? What will you think about these characters? How does the story go after our own chapter has been written?

The goal, dear reader, is lofty I suppose. We hope that in these simple entries, musings and incidents you will see the building of a life, a love and a family, one word at a time.
