Cabin Closing

Cabin closing weekend 2012 included almost 5 pounds of bacon, 17 pounds of pulled pork, snow, wine, spicy chili and black bean soup, the largest crew of workers in years, the most cold weather ready space for people to use (warms beds in the Murph, cabin 4, The Big House, cabin 2, cabin 3, cabin 7, Timber Roots and the Treehouse - suddenly we are rich with places to stay when the weather gets cold).

Eric, Chris and Dad chased around to see who could get to pet projects first. James championed the cold water removal - sustaining a nasty bruise on his leg "catching" one of the docks.

All in all, it was a wild success. Dee, Grandma MJ and I did most of the cooking while enjoying warm drinks in front of a fire. God Bless this family and God bless the Lake!
