It has been funny this year watching Seamus and Finn develop friendships with some special girls in their classes. Finn's buddy Liv moved out of Nativity Parish mid year and there were tears shed on and off for weeks. She made a surprise visit during her new spring break and Finn came home with a huge smile on his face.
Seamus had a play date two weeks ago with Marina, a new friend this year. She's sweet, smart and very tomboyish. Seamus totally adores her.
Becca is another girl that both the boys play with - she's in Finn's class though a head taller than almost everyone. She's wild and loud and lots of fun. We saw her playing outside on the walk home yesterday and had a little visit.
I love that the girls the boys are choosing to spend time with have big personalities, confidence and a sense of fun. I think that bodes well for their futures.
