Let the Wild Rumpus Start!

Meet the boys: James, strikingly handsome, yet fun loving dad; Seamus, affectionate and rowdy; Finn, don't call him a baby - he's a wild man. These are my boys. And boy, am I proud.

James is working his tail off (to use my father's favorite phrase) at a project for Best Buy. You'd think he'd be in heaven working at what is essentially his Mecca; but apparently BUYING electronics for yourself and PAYING the poor folks who sell the stuff is really quite different. Who knew?

Seamus is in the throws of learning to talk. This makes every day an interesting adventure that typically begins like this:
Mom (with one eye open): "Good morning, pumpkin. How did you sleep? Oh. Hmmm? Say that again, honey. Ahhh. What did you eat? The shovel hit what? Fingers out of your mouth so mom can understand. Sharks in the basement? Finn's happy? It happens? OK, sweetie, mom's going to get a pot of coffee to brush her teeth with..."

Finn is our family muppet. He is currently hell on wheels. And happy about it. We call him our adorable little Roomba - put him on the ground and he'll systematically cover all the ground space while sucking up small objects (and some not so small objects). He also has a knack for finding Kleenex - I swear he has it stashed all over the house - I have to continually check his mouth for more contraband - I hope this isn't a preview of the high school years...

When we're visiting my parents, my mom always says that "my boys love love." It sure is the truth.
