So we discovered 5 little bunnies living in our oregano a few days ago. Seamus was in heaven. Unfortunately, the next morning, at least two of the bunnies were also in heaven...we found horribly dismembered baby bunny bodies in the dewy morning grass...
Seamus screamed for 10 minutes. Cousins Lizzy and Kerrie had spent the night and were present for the discovery - not sure if they'll ever spend the night again. The funniest (if any piece of this is really funny) part was Kerrie coming into the kitchen saying, "We ran over a baby bunny! But it might have been dead before we hit it." As if the plastic, Little Tyke car was capable of decapitating a rabbit.
