Walking

I tried hard this summer to set up a good routine for us all at the cabin. We went for a walk every morning (well, most mornings) either through the woods or down the road. It seemed like a good way to get the day going right after breakfast.  This was during James's vacation in July - a family walk around the "neighborhood".

Grandma Barbara arrived in time to celebrate Dad's birthday this year. We celebrated in style on our pretty much complete new deck. 

We took Thomas on his first boat ride - he didn't mind the lifejacket - and the kids all got turns driving the speed boat.

Great Cabin Nap.

Seamus was reading, Thomas was snoozing in the portacrib and MJ, Finn and I had a great late afternoon nap together.  The only time all day any of us were quiet.

Been a fun week guessing about the rain, watching them build,  and seeing the nesrly finished product. Sliding door tomorrow...
